Jamaican Rice and Peas

kidney beans coconut milk all purpose seasoning scallion garlic thyme allspice scotch bonnet pepper salt and black pepper long white grain rice



Soak the red kidney beans overnight. Cook with the coconut milk and seasonings until tender.


Wash the rice and add it to the broth. Cover it with foil and the lid and cook until tender.


Allow the rice to rest after cooking then fluff with a fork. Enjoy!
